WeeWorld and Nintendo Update
A letter from WeeWorld CEO, Celia Francis
April 4, 2007
Hello WeeWorlders –
As promised, we wanted to update you on the Nintendo case.
If you’re hearing about this for the first time, you might want to check out my
last note.
The court has ruled in our favor and while we have been asked to pay a small
part of Nintendo’s legal fees, the case was dismissed "without prejudice." This
means we can concentrate our current efforts on the European case and re-file
the case in the United
States either before or after the
European suit has been resolved. This really helps us continue our
efforts to protect WeeWorld’s trademarks and the global WeeMee community. THANK YOU for your supportive comments and emails.
Okay, on to other great things to report.
New WeeMees are being born so fast, that we’ve been upgrading WeeWorld to keep
it running smoothly. What does this mean for you? Your WeeWorld
life is now better and faster. And we're just getting started.
Want more? Skype and Windows Live Messenger users asked for it, and now they
got it … traveling WeeMees. Longtime Skype and Windows fans can still
make and update WeeMees on skype.weeworld.com or wee-mee.com, but now they can
also travel over to WeeWorld and enjoy all the great benefits without having to
start from square one. If you're already a WeeWorld user, you can now take your
WeeMee to Skype and Windows Live Messenger directly from WeeWorld.
That’s it for now, but I’ll keep you posted on further developments. Of
course, if you have questions or comments, just go to my WeeWorld home page or
the user feedback page. Either way, I’ve really enjoyed hearing your thoughts
and ideas. It has meant the world to me to have your electric guitar
rocking, tulip-loving WeeMees’ support these past few days.
Check out all the new stuff that just launched. Be the first to grab some cool
new clothes or that fire-breathing dragon!
More soon,
Celia
