- when the planting flowers idea escapes your smooth light pink baby lips , i nod in approval " sure we can babygirl " i slide my warm hands under your small warm under arms , four of my fingers gripping each side of your fragile back , and my thumbs under your little collar bone , i use my mussels to lift your light body into the cool air surrounding us , and onto my hip , your chubby legs wrapped around my waist , my hands supporting your bum , and back , i continue to walk threw the sun lit living room , placing my right foot , in front of my left , down a hardwood floored hallway , my flip flops gliding against the smooth cold floor , after walking past a couple of doors , bathroom door , extra rooms , closet , basement , and garage , i enter the dining room , which my family never really uses , then i enter the kitchen , i glance around , taping my chin with my index finger , and my hot pink painted nails , cut short , thinking if we need anything from in here , sure that everything is outside i pass the room and continue the sun room , i extend my hand and grip the gold knob , i push my weight downward , and pull opening the French doors , I then enter the sunroom , with nice white furniture , your small eyes wander around the room , another room my family rarely uses , and finally after walking threw the room i reach the sliding glass door to the brown wood deck , over seeing the big pool , with a curling white slide , the bright yellow sun shines down on my golden brown hair , naturally making it lighter , I look at you , out eyes meeting, I simply smile at you , and gently kiss your little nose , I walk down the thirteen steps so the big back yard , with a pool surrounded my plush grass , I look around and see my destination , in the corner of the yard a medium sized rectangle , filled with fresh dirt , and miracle grow , I walk across the yard ,and sit right in front of the rectangle , criss-cross apple sauce , cause a little don’t won’t hurt (; I gently place you in my lap , I reach to the side and grab the paper packets of flower seeds in my hand , and spread them on the ground so you know which kinds you want to plant , each crème colored packet lays on the plush newly cut green grass , with a picture of a different flower on each “ which one would you like to plant first honey ? “ (: -
